Metro East Career Pathways
Welcome to
Education is a life-long journey, & the Metro East Adult Education Consortium is here to support adult learners all the way from high school diplomas to rewarding careers & beyond. We do this by offering Career Pathways programming.
Career Pathways programs offer no-cost access to training, programs & services that help adults develop the skills necessary to identify, pursue and succeed in rewarding careers. These classes often blend academic & employment skills, & help adult learners enter & succeed in the workplace. They are designed for adults who:
- Are making the transition from school to work for the first time
- Are already employed but need to reskill or upskill to achieve their career goals
- Are between jobs and want to explore a new field, or freshen up their resumes for a job search
Career Pathways courses often lead to an industry recognized credential like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Help Desk Specialist (Comp-TIA/A+), Paraprofessional, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), or Commercial Drivers' License (CDL).
